How payouts are traced

PropFirmPayout reads stablecoin transfers from public blockchains. It counts only transfers from wallets that are tied to a prop firm with evidence, and it links every counted payout to its transaction.

What counts as a traced payout

A traced payout is an outgoing transfer of an allowlisted stablecoin from a tracked wallet. Each one is identified by its transaction hash and its log index, which is the position of the transfer event inside the transaction.

Only the token contracts below are read. A token with the same name from any other contract is ignored, so copycat tokens cannot add to a figure.

A transfer from a tracked wallet is not counted when any of these apply:

  • It is under $10. This removes dust and zero-value address-poisoning transfers.
  • It goes to another wallet listed for the same firm or for another firm, or back to the sender.
  • It is a direct-rail transfer to the zero address, which is a bridge burn and not a payment.
  • It goes to a known bridge, treasury, Rise system or fee address listed below.
  • A reviewer has excluded it after checking it by hand.

Direct-rail transfers of $50,000 or more are held for manual review before they are published. So are 3 or more transfers to one address that add up to $50,000 within 30 days. These patterns often belong to treasury moves rather than trader payouts.

How a wallet is tied to a firm

A wallet is tracked only when evidence ties it to the firm. These kinds of evidence are accepted:

  • The firm publishes the wallet address itself.
  • The firm confirms the wallet address in writing.
  • Payout receipts from several traders match transfers from the wallet.
  • Other documented proof, described on the firm page.

Only wallets marked verified are tracked. Each one is shown on its firm page with its evidence and the date it was added. A wallet named only by a third party stays unverified until it is confirmed.

Payment rails

Rise

Rise (Riseworks) is a payroll platform that many prop firms use to pay traders. The firm funds a Rise account on Arbitrum, and Rise pays traders from it.

A Rise payout appears on Arbiscan as the firm's Rise account burning RiseUSD, Rise's 1:1 USD ledger token. Rise then credits the trader's Rise account. The site shows this token as USD (Rise ledger).

The trader's later USDC or USDT withdrawal comes from a pooled Rise wallet that serves all Rise customers, and it is not counted. Before RiseUSD, Rise used an older ledger token called RISEPAY, and those payouts appear as RISEPAY transfers from the firm's RiseID to the trader's RiseID.

Firm Rise accounts can also make business-to-business payments, which are excluded. Burns that pay non-traders such as staff or vendors cannot be told apart on-chain.

Direct

On the direct rail, the firm sends USDT or USDC from its own wallet to the trader. The site reads these transfers on Arbitrum, Ethereum, Polygon and Tron.

What is left out

  • Payouts by bank transfer, card or e-wallet.
  • Crypto payouts through rails or platforms that are not tracked.
  • Payouts from wallets that are not yet tied to the firm with evidence.
  • Trader withdrawals from Rise, which come from a pooled wallet shared by all Rise customers.
  • Transfers on chains or in tokens outside the table above.

Known limits

  • A tracked wallet can also send transfers that are not trader payouts, such as payments to staff, vendors or other firm accounts.
  • Firms can change wallets. Payouts from a new wallet appear only after that wallet is tied to the firm.
  • History depth differs by wallet. A figure starts at the first transfer the site can read from each tracked wallet.
  • Stablecoins are counted at face value, so 1 USDC or 1 USDT counts as 1 US dollar.
  • All times and calendar periods are in UTC.
  • Windows such as the last 30 days roll back from the data sync time, not from the moment a page is viewed.

How figures are computed

Traced total
The sum of all traced payout amounts in the window.
Payouts
The number of traced payouts in the window.
Median
The middle amount when payouts are sorted by size. With an even count, the mean of the two middle amounts.
Average
The traced total divided by the number of payouts.
Largest
The single largest traced payout in the window.
Share
A firm's traced total divided by the traced total of all listed firms in the same window.
Rank
Firms sorted by traced total, highest first. Ties go to the firm with more payouts, then to the name A to Z.
Windows
The last 7 days, 30 days and 12 months (365 days), counted back from the data sync time. All time covers every traced payout.

A firm with no traced payout in a window is left out of that view. It is never shown with a zero total.

How to check a payout

  1. Open a firm page and pick a payout from the latest payouts table.
  2. Select its transaction link. It opens on Arbiscan, Etherscan, PolygonScan or Tronscan.
  3. In the transfer list or event log, find the transfer with the same amount.
  4. Check that the sender is one of the tracked wallets listed on the firm page.
  5. Check that the token contract matches one in the token table.
  6. For a Rise payout, check that RiseUSD moves from the firm's Rise account to the zero address.

Update schedule

The first data sync is pending. Data is refreshed by a scheduled sync, normally once a day, and the site is rebuilt from the new data.

A firm whose data is more than 48 hours older than the latest sync is marked with its last sync date. Its recent figures may then be incomplete.

Wallet log

Every tracked wallet of a listed firm, newest first. Recipient addresses are never published.

No wallet is published yet. Wallets appear here once their firm is listed.

Corrections and wallet submissions

Firms and traders can report an error or submit a paying wallet with its evidence to propworldpartners@gmail.com. A trader receipt is most useful with the payout date, the amount and the receiving address.

PropFirmPayout is run by PropFirmTrading. The about page explains who runs the site and how it is funded.
